If we made a preview for your business

We use publicly available business information—such as your business name and address, website text and images, public Google profile and reviews—to choose a business, prepare a private preview and send one addressed business letter. We record the preview code, mailing batch, dispatch status, and the time and source when that preview is opened. Our scan log does not retain an IP address, browser or referrer.

We obtained that information from your public website and public business listings. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: showing a relevant business a concrete website proposal while keeping the privacy impact low. We do not sell the information or use it for unrelated marketing.

The preview is excluded from search engines and is removed 30 days after the letter, or sooner on request. We retain a suppression record if you object so that we do not contact you again. Operational mailing and response records are normally kept for 12 months, then deleted or anonymised unless we need them for a legal claim.

If you contact us

We use the name, business, phone number, email address and message you provide to answer your request and, if you become a customer, to provide the service and keep the records the law requires. Callback requests are handled through Netlify; scheduling through Cal.com; email notifications through Resend; and payments through Stripe. Each provider processes information under its own terms and may process it outside the UK using approved safeguards.

Website measurement

This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider receives ordinary network logs needed to deliver and protect the site. A letter preview sends the minimal scan event described above only after five seconds or an interaction.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information. You can object to direct marketing at any time; we will stop it. Email hello@wentahead.co.uk. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
